CPKs and beer!!!!

Picked up this today and had no idea it would be red! It’s an IPA from Belleflower in Portland, Maine. I thought you guys would like this one! IPA is a solid 7 but the can art is a solid 10!

I had this one last year, really didn't like the taste, but the novelty of a red ipa was worth trying, I'm glad you gave it a solid 7. For some reason everything Bellflower does just seems off for my liking, even picked up a new series from them last night, and again was disappointed.

This was the first time I’ve had one that I remember. I was hoping for something a little better, but it was okay. I don’t think it is much different than the Sebago Frye’s Leap or something along those lines. I probably won’t grab much else from them. Definitely has a bit to go before it reaches Bissell or Foundation level.

First I’ve ever seen this. Would be pretty hilarious (morbid, but hilarious) if they included the depiction of the Nutty Putty/John Jones incident, and labeled it Bud Light 😂

I know what you mean, but I think the Nutty Putty tragedy doesn't exactly apply here. A Bud Light drinker can always see the light and climb out. Unfortunately Mr. Jones did not have that option.

Maybe more like Plato's Cave: the Bud Light drinkers are content to sit in their cave, believing the shadows on the walls (and "subtle" references on top 20 country/pop radio stations) that tell them it's a good drink. They can leave, though, if only they'd peek into the light and drink a Miller High Life instead. ;)

The analogy in my warped sense of humor, is more like what Budweiser/AB did to themselves with the whole fiasco that’s cost them over $1 billion. 😅

The drinkers still have the ability to climb out of the hole.

I've got a bottle from 2015 still, and my neighbor just picked one of these up, we'll be doing a 10 year taste test, hopefully this weekend - if you've never had it, it's amazing! The best beer I've ever had was Utopias aged on cherries, they brought a small keg to Rare Beer Festival about 9 years ago - simply amazing.
