I miss living out west specifically because I can’t get Mirror Pond pale ale by Deschutes. And it’s not because I can’t get any Deschutes beers in Ohio. I can get three or four IPA’s by Deschutes, that’s about it. That’s a good pale ale.

Johnny Utah pale ale by Georgetown is phenomenal also. Very crisp and slightly hoppy.

I like Deschutes "Black Butte Porter" ...when I have a yen for a porter. Of course, now it costs more than just a yen.

If you guys ever end up here in Oregon, the Deschutes Brewery is a most excellent place to visit, often having beers on tap that aren't distributed elsewhere.

Probably. But that seems like work. I don’t mix drinking and work so it’s nonstarter for me.

Also, I have this to drink.

They went after the Columbus, Cincinnati and Dayton markets first. They haven’t expanded north towards yoko because they are not set up to deal with that kind of ravenous demand.
