CPKs and beer!!!!

Love me some good, old school Filson. I have a bunch of it, and I doubt any of it will wear out in my lifetime.
I wore out one pair of Filson tin pants but it took 5 winters to do so. Eventually, we had to switch to FR Gear because parafin wax is “flamable”. Still, it’s very rugged stuff and as the quality of things keeps going down, I’ll miss it !🥵

I've tried their stuff a few times over the years, between having issues with two different pairs of pants ripping out in different spots not long after buying them, ill-fitting shirts/flannels and the prices they want to charge for items made in Bangladesh I'm done with them. Maybe find a pair of older tin cloth pants on ebay and see how they stack up. I do have a bison wool winter hat of theirs that's toasty warm and us made.
You hit the nail on the head, brother. If the made in the USA products were flawed, they’d make it right. Now, we can still find some of those quality products……on the secondary market. But, the QC on the foreign made stuff is nil.

Dang. There wool stuff still seems to be good quality and most of it is still made in US like their wool cruiser jackets.

Yeah I’ve been wearing Filson gear for years now working in the woods. I do feel like the prices are no longer reflecting the quality. One used to know with the that paying a premium price was going to get you a premium product. But that no longer seems to be the case. I even saw they were selling sweat pants now. I think they are getting more geared towards selling to people who want to wear work wear fashionably. Unfortunately White’s Boots from up there sold out as well. The most recent pair I got was post sell out, and I could tell. I’ve been hearing good things about JK Boots from Spokane so I may give them a shot next. Plus it doesn’t hurt that you can order them with a custom sized knife sheath sewn into the boot.
