Stone Brewing is down near San Diego. One of my favorite classic W. Coast IPAs. None of that fruity/hazy/bash you over the head with hoppy overkill, which seems to be the trend with the kids these days. ;)

Kind of sad anheuser-busch bought out Elysian
I agree on the hazy and fruity being over the top. I do like hoppy though. Spacedust is just over 70 ivy’s which is perfect for my tastes.

I do agree with Yoko that it’s a shame when any independent brewery gets bought out and commercialized.

I'm really surprised it didn't sweep the Oscars that year.
That movie rocked! All those guys from that era...Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Jim and John Belushi, etc...good times! I love that Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi are ganja farmers now 🤣 Some of the funniest stuff I've seen is Robin Williams and Richard Pryor doing stand-up in the late 70's / early 80's

For many years (20?), I preferred and quaffed the hoppiest, most bitter pale ales I could find. Now I want the least hops i can get and steer clear of any sort of IPA. That being said I have two IPA's in my possession. Seeing so many of you speak fondly of the Elysian Space Dust, I decided to give it a try. I'm surprised how balanced it is; good flavor yet not a disgusting/intolerable amount of hops, very smooth and easy to drink at 8+%. It won't be a regular thing for me, but I was pleasantly surprised and would have it again. Bummed to hear they got gobbled up by a mega corporation.
