These are delicious
For this year’s anniversary beer, we found inspiration in the southern hemisphere. This double IPA is brewed with Peacharine and Riwaka hops, along with a special ingredient called Phantasm – an extract from sauvignon blanc grape skins – all sourced from New Zealand. Combined with some good old fashioned Mosaic hops from the US and an amped up grain bill and we’ve got ourselves a unique sensory experience full of dankness and tropical citrusy notes. Coming in at a smooth 9.6% in honor of the year we started: 1996.
I don't have a big slection of high% beer in my neck of the woods, but there is some of that in the cooler down the road. I may have to try it this weekend.I normally don't like "fruity" beers, but that Juice Force IPA is an exception. Not too sweet and doesn't taste at all like a 9.5% beer, goes down so smooth and easy that it could be dangerous!
Stone Brewery is awesome! Glad to see they are celebrating an anniversary! Their Arrogant Bastard Ale really changed my perspective on things. But at 7.2%, it has a tendancy to do that!View attachment 2320663
