Threw these scales together in a few hours while the wife and son were out.
Not the greatest, but the intent to keep the spine proud and provide a little more swell in the palm for grip comfort was achieved.

(Just kidding but "heavy drinkers" do sometimes exhibit this characteristic.)
It’s been a while since I’ve had an Abita. I used to work at either of two drive through liquor stores in Athens Ga. They were both owned by the same person. There were dry counties on either side of us and were the first and last liquor stores in the county. Appropriately named First and Last Chance liquor stores. They wouldn’t ship Abita too far from the brewery back then and we would have to talk our distributors into throwing a few cases of Purple Haze and Turbo Dog on the truck for our personal stash. It was a cool job, and we met all kinds of people. We could sell a bottle, a mixer and give a cup of ice. But couldn’t sell mixed drinks. Plus, you could work there at 18 but couldn’t buy alcohol till 21 so that worked in our favor too.

sorry about the potential loss of what would surely have been your greatest customer. I know you can’t believe I would do you like that. The audacity! I vow, before you and the rest of the congregation, to make up for all those lost sales buy picking up the slack and buying everything I know he would have. It seems like double my normal intake would about cover it. I don’t know what that will leave for the rest of these……what was it he said……..oh yeah, these asshats, but they are a resilient and resourceful bunch, so I know they will find a way.
