Forgot to ask...thickness behind the edge? Looks nice and thin. Just out of interest, did you lay up the material for the handle yourself or is it a proprietary material?

The thickness behind the edge is .010", Thin and ready to cut.
The handle material is proprietary to another company. They will not sell it anymore, I have asked a couple times. This is the third knife I have put it on and is likely to stay that way for some time.
