Cpm 154?

I don't work with stainless much, but have realy taken a liking to CPM's 154. My knifemaking's been on hold with building a house and shop and moving and such so I've been out of the loop a little bit. Won't be much longer and I'll be ready to pick the hammer back up though, already got the shop finished, now just need to finish the house!

With Cruciable's finacial trouble, hate to see anouther american company go down, how hard will it be to come by this steel? I mainly use it for folders and the ocasional small knife. Got a little bit but it will eventualy run out.

for me it went from 15 ish a lband went to 24 $ +shipping at the last place i could find for the thicknes i wanted

RWL-34 a European powder steel is the equivalent - though not easy to find.

I buy my RWL-34 from here: Nordell Knives
They are quite helpful throughout the order process. I'd email them to learn the shipping rates to USA..

If I were to ever use any stainless (doubtful), I would look into the Sandvik steels.
