Hello, I'm relatively new here at this forum, but I have been making knives for about 7 years. I am a sole authorship maker; I do everything in-house including, design, shaping, grinding, heat treating, fitting, and finishing.
I offer a money back guarantee on my knives, if a knife I deliver is not what I describe or does not meet your expectations I will return your money, minus any shipping or money transfer charges.
I use top quality materials and component. I insure a smooth action with nylatron washers and insure a blade will stay closed by use of a detent ball. I insure consistent tight reliable lock up by heat treating the locking bar and I use 3/32 thick 440C stainless steel for my liner/frame material. I only use stainless pivots and screws.
I use several different finishes on my knives including: hand rubbing, media blasting, and polishing.
This particular knife has a redesigned pocket clip to insure a deep ride in the pocket.
Specs are:
3 inch CPM 154 CM drop point blade with a hand rubbed finish
7 5/8 overall length
black G10 1/8 thick on the non-locking side
locking side is 440C 3/32 thick with a heat treated locking bar
.063 black G10 on the locking side

The asking price is **sold**
I ship USPS priority insured to continental US, over seas requires a special quote.
Feel free to contact me with questions:

I'm not much for non traditional folders but my wife has caught me looking at this knife 3 times. Nice looking knife and I like the clip and clean lines when closed.

I own several folders made by J.T. Clark. His folders are great for the money. J.T. does good clean work and his frame locks lock-up perfectly on all of my folders. Don't be afraid of his work. You will get a nice EDC frame lock custom folder at a fair price.

Thanks for the comments.
If anyone is interested in this folder I'm open to offers.
It locks up tight, its smoothand sharp, and I offer a money back guarantee.

Don't suppose you could show some pics of the lockup? Also some pics of the backspacer angle? In your hands?

Just inquiring, could the main pivot be slightly changed to larger main pivot size? Also could the back spacer screw size be increased? How thick is the blade? What would be the hardness of the blade? If possible also what would be the hardness of the lockbar contact area (area where lockbar contacts tang)?

Thanks for the questioning opportunity. You may see that I'm not from the US which is something I should note.

Here are the pictures that were requetsed
The blade thickness is 5/32.
The poivt size is 3/16.
I do not have a rockwell tester, I heat treat according to spec set by Crucible and I use an Evenheat oven, according to Crucible the hardness should be 59-60. Based on the amount of blades I have sharpened over the years I can tell that this steel seems to be in that range and I have not been able to chip the edge flexing it.
The locking bar was heat treated and drew to a spring temper with the anvil end left harder.
I have several folders with this style of lock up and heat treat in service now including the one I carry with no failures or lock up problems, the one I carry is a everday user and has seen some abuse.
I use a 3/16 pivot due the way I design the lock and the stop bar placement, I may be able to use a 1/4 pivot for large knives, but I have not seen any problems with the 3/16 yet.

Sorry for the bother, I didn't realise that there was only one steel liner ala Strider. I sorta have this uneasy feeling of single steel liners even if it's well made. Nothing wrong with 3/16 pivot in terms of strength but I like looking at larger pivots. No biggie.

Thanks for the pics. I've checked out your site, I like your no-nonsense lines in your folders gallery.

Hi Jason, I received the knife the other day. I am amazed with your work. This is an excellent knife. The lock up is really tight, no play anywhere. Even closed the lines on this knife has perfect symmetry. I am indeed going to order another knife or 2. Thanks again, Peter
