Yeah, game changer. I remember the first time I tried some a few years ago. It took a sharp edge and really made it "pop"I'll have to try that.

Cpm-20cv won’t sharpen to razor edge...

Get technique down and any steel is not a problem to sharpen.I do not prefer super steels that are super hard but simple carbon steels and steels like 12c27 ,aus8-10 etc.theyre super easy to touch up and can be sharpened without specialized equipment,but thats just my preference.Diamond dmt stones or norton sil carbide can sharpen anything,just get technique down first with softer knivves and also a big thing is most modern knives in auper steels or not are too thick behind edge and geometry is too thick.....and should be ground down on belt sander first when new,then sharpened!practice is key!
