Nice knives and I'm a huge fuller fan

They might not make a blade stronger but as Nathan mentioned when you make the blade more robust to begin with and than use fullers to loose some weight the benefit of weight balance and feel outweighs any negatives imho

Many will remember years ago I pushed Jason Knight to add fullers to his Khukuris to great effect

The fuller is an ancient addition to many blades when feel and balance were a critical thing

You are seeing more and more pieces these days bringing back the fuller and I for one really like it

Just recently the Mirabile Ko Wak sported a fuller to great effect

For years we have seen flutes cut into rifle barrels to reduce weight but keep up with rigidity

They might not be stronger in a bend test but they sure do carry and balance better :)

Scalloping out metal to add benefits to certain things might not be the ticket for a pry bar but for other mediums I think it is just fine

A great thread. The knives look good.

As an added bonus, I have another name on my ignore list. It was a decision made some time ago, but forgot to get it done until today.....

Just stumbled across this thread.

There are a lot of knives I find useful and well-designed, but very few that really get my blood pumping (and not thru blood grooves). These two knives really speak to me for some reason I can't quite put my finger on. Absolutely beautiful just as they are - I wouldn't change a thing.

I would not use them for fighting because I am slow, fat, and more inclined to use a six-gun, but I damn-sure would use one of these knives for everything else I could find to use a knife for.

Wish I hadn't seen this thread 'cause now I'll be wanting one of those knives for the next month or two. I already have to battle my cravings for bacon-wrapped 1/2 lb cheeseburgers, Hornitos Black Tequila, and a blood-red 1965 Mercury Marauder! Now this! How much can you expect from one man?

Now I'm really screwed 'cause I spent all of this month's discretionary knife money, already ate all my bacon, got no burger in the fridge, and affording a Marauder is about as likely as my hairline movement reversing directions. Looks like the sum total of my ample cravings will need to be slaked on that damn bottle of tequila. How much can you expect from one bottle of tequila?
