Here is one of my popular "Beast" patterns, I hand shape the scales with files to get great ergos and comfort. I prefer using CPM 3V on this knife as it is intended to be a serious user and we chose to put Cerakote on this one for easier maintenance.

Specs:
Blade Steel: CPM 3V with Graphite Black Cerakote
Blade Thickness: 1/4"
Blade Length: 7 7/8" tip to plunge
Overall Knife Length: 13 5/8"
Blade Width: 1 1/2"
Black G10 scales with Red G10 liners and stainless steel screws
Kydex sheath with Large Tek-Lok

Really really nice! Looks like a great outdoor knife but I would feel bad getting it boogered up.
 
Nice, I am looking for something in 1/4" thick around 4.5 inch blade in CPM 3V, do you have any recommendations? Something similar to my Surefire Echo.. My range is $100 - $150, which I know is ridiculous...
