Interested to know the weight and balance point.

This looks like a great evolution of your work, Chris - totally utilitarian, but also very refined.

Weight is 5.3 oz in sheath and 4.2 oz for the knife alone.
Balance point is behind the first pin about where the bottom of the contouring is.
Very light considering the thickness the blade is made from and very comfortable and pleasant to hold.

I agree--great working design in arguably the best working steel out there in terms of balance between high edge holding and uber-toughness. Nicely refined attention to ergonomics using handle material that's almost as tough as the steel it rides on.

Hard one to pass up--just a great, great hunter/edc in a very understated, durable, high-performance package.

(Have to stop now before I talk myself into it. :foot: :D)

Thanks Will York.
I very much want the knives I make to be used to their fullest potential and try to pick materials and ergonomics that will allow that to happen efficiently.

OK, Chris, I'll take this. In additional to a weekend EDC / day-hiking knife, this will make a perfect companion to one or two large blades I have.

Please confirm its still available, and I'll send some funds this evening.

Best,
Stephen.
