I just profiled this one out! It is a about 8" long and is made from .227" thick CPM-3V Tool Steel.

Jimmy Fikes made some larger fighters along these lines, big respect to Mr. Fikes for the inspiration. I can't say enough about his work, it is the best!

I like that too! Nice shape! You going to be calling it the edf then? ;)

Thanks! EDF lol!!! I'm not the best when it comes to names!

One thing you can't be accused of, Daniel, is making "typical" knives. :p

I am happy to hear that!

Looking good!

Great to hear! :D

That looks like my kind of EDC!!!!

Same here! This is a fun one for sure, I may have to keep one for "testing." (always a good excuse)

That is exactly why he has created such a following. Too many out there that are just cycled designs.

Kaleb

I really appreciate that!

I'm liking this one quite a lot. Can we get a price for the two more?

Thanks! They will run around $180-210 each depending on most handle and sheath options. I'd like to do a cord wrap on these to keep them as fast and light as possible just like the original knife I drew my inspiration from.

Cord wraps are super nice because they are very grippy. I wouldn't want a blade without a guard intended for self defense having a slick micarta handle

I agree 100%.

When I finish my Micarta and G10 I leave it on the grippy side, I can't stand a slippery handle.

I must say that's quit a departure from your usual lines and flow (from what I have seen at least). They turned out quite sexy!!

How is the weight/balance? Spine shot? in hand shot? Full frontal shot? Dimentions? The blade looks absoultly amazing! It's a shorter version of the orginal for sure! I just question the handle a bit. The little sculpting that's there visually (I would think usufullness of it) is unnessary. This is not thin stock like the orginal (3/16 not really that thin) so you should be able to knock that hump down to flow a bit more like the orginal. I have an idea that I'll pm you for handles as another option other than the cord wrap. You may like it :).

At the moment they want to stay in the hand as far as balance goes, I didn't remove any of the handle to stay true to the original design inspiration. After we talk about the handle I'm considering moving the balance point closer to the index finger.

I agree on the sculpting, I think I will round it to make it more comfortable and more my style. I feel it worked great on the massive original version but on this one it is not needed.

I'll get more photos soon. :D The top one is a little shorter than the other two at about 7.75" long or so, the other two are around 8" total. The swedge on the top one is deeper as well.

I'll talk to you soon Petah, I want this to be your favorite knife! :D
