I usually make knives this size under fifteen thou at the edge shoulders but this one gives up some cutting ability for durability. At .015" it is still thin to people used to production knives so I went half way between custom and production. I like knives that cut well and here is the happy medium.


Steel: .155" CPM 3V Tested at 59/60 HRC
Blade length: 4.5" FFG, and mill flats
.016" edge shoulders and .020" at the point "V" edge off SIC stone approximately 15 DPS
OAL 9 1/8"
Handle: Highly contoured and tapered canvas micarta, white/red G-10 liners and stainless hardware
Sheath: kydex, large tek-lok compatible
