Hi everyone, here is the first finished knife in a small run of four in this design that I am making. I designed these knives to be small, lightweight, capable of precision cuts while remaining very tough and able to put up with lots of abuse. I personally use one of the same design in my shop all of the time.
Specs
Steel: 3/32" CPM 3V @ 60Rc Heat Treated by Peters
Grind: Right Hand Chisel FFG with polished convex edge
Handle: 1/8" Blue G10 with .060" black G10 liners
Hardware: Stainless pins and lanyard tube
Finish: Scotchbrite belt finish
7" OAL, 3" cutting length, 1" tall
This one is 175$155 shipped CONUS with tracking and insurance. I take Paypal, USPS MO and cashiers check. First "I'll take it" gets it. My email is markellmtthw@aol.com.
I do not have a sheath for this one.
I did some test cutting on a cardboard box and this little knife just ripped through it effortlessly. I'm very pleased with how the edge geometry turned out. It is VERY sharp, case in point: I tested the shaving ability and in addition to discovering that it is hairpopping sharp, I cut my arm pretty good. I have never done that before.
PICTURES!
Thanks for looking everyone, your comments are appreciated!
