Reposting this for another look.
This is a variant of my AP tanto. It has a bit more angular tip. The blade is 8.25" of hand rubbed CPM 3v. The spine has my signature tapered fuller.
The guard is 6al4v Titanium that I orange peel textured and anodized purple with gold accents, the menuki are also titanium with a hammered texture.
The spacer is hammered copper. The whole handle is soaked in g/flex epoxy and is nice and solid with a natural look. This is a beast of knife ready for anything you can throw at it.

I hand stitched a nice IWB style sheath, with a Horween buffalo hide front.

Here are the specs.

OAL - 13.5"
Blade - 8.25"
Steel - .280" CPM 3V Proper Heat treat and Liquid nitrogen cryo done by myslef. 60-61rc
Fittings - 6al4v Titanium guard and menuki, hammered copper spacer.
Handle - Hemp under wrap and Black Tsuka Ito. Epoxy soaked and nice and solid.
Sheath - Hand stitched IWB, with Bison hide front.
Price - $975 Free Insured Priority shipping
Paypal or postal money order preferred.
Thanks for looking!!

I agree---I've been in the custom knife market for years and THAT one grabs your attention; very classy.

That knife is pretty much exactly what a Katana style knife should look like. If only I had the money, cause I've definitely sought after a knife like that. I would put it in a katana style sheath to complete it since I do not think that sheath is worthy of it. I did steal the picture to put on my background as an icon so I can at least look at it. Maybe some day.

This one is long gone. Let me know, I'll build you one like it.
