I just got yelled at so IM posting this for the new folks.
I have CPM 420V and CPM 3V in sheet stock for knives.
This stock was rolled for knives and has the grain running end to end and is very clean.
To give an idea on price a 1.5"x12"piece in 420V is $24 and $16 in 3V
The 420v is .166" thick and the 3V is .175"
between 5/32 and 3/16

Why is the 3V cheaper than the 420V? I heard that it was supposed to be better...bad rumor?

Could you post the compositions of the two steels please?

Thanks
