CPM D2 vs CPM S30V paramilitary?

i've had my d2 para for about a week now living on vancouver island, no rust here yet, great knife in my opinion

Same components in the steel, but the Powered Metallurgy process give a better and more even distribution of same.

so CPM D2 is like a D2 upgrade? cool. I have a Knives of Alaska Caper in D2 I love the knife and the steel, so CPM has gotta rock and roll then.

I prefer D2 because of how well it holds an edge. It's close to being stainless so it's really easy to maintain. S30v is also a great steel and holds an edge plenty fine for most but not as well as D2.

I personally think it's cooler to have a paramilitary in D2 instead of you're standard production model s30v.

Agreed. That is why I bought one for show and one to go.
