CPM-M4 Benchmade Knives - Please post yours

There was no rust. Best I can imagine sand wore down the spring? I have no clue though. A bad spring? The reason I said oiled and clean is because the mini grip was dry lubed and I'm not sure that was the best? It kept away grit but maybe not the best lubricant?

Keeping this one clean with an air compressor now and again. Making sure there's no sand or abrasive materials eating away at that tiny spring.

Just my theory.

Are you suspecting rust is a factor for the failed lock spring? I haven't done maintenance for my cpm-m4 mini-grip. Maybe I should?

What I want now is Minis with G10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just having fun on a miserable day taking a few snapshots of my new favorite EDC. I am going to have to break down and start letting it get some scratches.

BTW, I changed the title to CPM-M4 Benchmades. Please post up any your have with any feedback you would like to include!

Thanks so much.

Kevin

I am really starting to think photo bucket has become garbage.

Trying a crop to let through some of the detail… maybe…

Hardly worth taking pictures.

Thanks for the continued contributions to everyone!

525BK-1101 is killer! I love that blade shape! When were these available?

These 525BK-1101 knives came out a couple of years ago, maybe even last year. Benchmade made them as an exclusive run for a well-known dealer in Louisiana. In addition, there was a run of the larger 520 models, but this smaller one is just about perfect, and one of my very favorites.

As with others using the same steel, the edge really holds up, and the coating is really good, shows very little scuffing. If you can find one get one!

I went through my knife spreadsheet and counted 32 knives! in M4
Not going to unbox them all but I can russle up a few pictures.
