CPM M4 vs ZDP-189

How do these two compare? Which keeps its edge longer?

For me M4 gets sharper easier, but both take excellent edges at thin angles. In my experience they are pretty similar in edge retention, but I never sat down side by side to try any sort of formal comparison. ZDP-189 has much better corrosion resistance, but due to how sharp M4 gets even at coarser grits I prefer it. My only M4 knife is a Krein custom which may bias me toward M4, but I do have 5 ZDP-189 knives including 3 of them being Krein regrinds, so I am a huge fan of it as well. Both will hold an edge for extended periods, but with M4 you just have to remember to wipe it down after cutting and to keep it dry to prevent corrosion.
