Just finished this fun kitchen knife. Blades steel is the awesome CPM M4, hardened, cryoed, and tempered to 64HRC. Handle is a nicely figured piece of Walnut, with a hand rubbed oil finish and a few coats of satin poly. Stainless steel pins. Edge is ~28° inclusive (14° per side), done completely by hand on diamond plates with a final 3 micron edge finish. The edge is simply amazing, bites right into your fingernail ridges. Edge retention should be amazing, especially as a kitchen utility knife. Both the spine and choil have been rounded and polished. "CPM M4" etched on the right hand side of the blade, balance point at the front pin.

OAL: 10 3/4"
Blade: 6"
Handle: 4 3/4"
Thickness: 0.080"
Steel: CPM M4 64HRC
Edge: ~28° total, 3 micron DiaSharp plate (UUF)

Right thickness, right hardness, nice steep angle and a beautiful handle to boot...
If I only had the money.
Actually bothers me sometimes when a really beautiful comes up. Oh well
