Hello everyone, first time posting something for sale. I've got an Ulu up for grabs, open to anywhere in either Canada or the USA.

This is an Ulu of my own design, small enough to fit in a pocket and robust enough for some hard use. Like its full sized inspiration, this Ulu has a full chisel grind, meaning it is perfectly flat along one side of the blade, and beveled only on the other side for a keen cutting edge. I have included a kydex pocket sheath for ease of carry. It also features a "T shaped" handle, meaning you should be aware of your own local laws before ordering this from me. (However, I can say it's legal everywhere in Canada!)

Now for some stats;

Steel - CPM S35VN @ 59-60 HRC
Cutting edge length - From edge point to edge point - 1.8" // 45.7mm
Blade length - Edge of handle scale to edge - 1.8" // 45.7mm
Blade thickness - Just under 5/32" // 3.7mm
Overall length - 3.98" // 101mm
Handle scales - Forest Green G10, Oxidized Black Chicago Screws
Sheath - Kydex pocket sheath

Steel type is labelled under the handle scale on the "presentation" side!

I'm asking $165 USD // $220 CAD, with shipping, insurance and tracking included, payment to be made through Paypal.

I do have this available in other places so please leave a message in the thread if you're interested, so I can see the timestamp.

Thanks for checking this out!

Very nice looking design. What would be the typical use for such blade?
Thank you! Traditionally an Ulu is an all-purpose kind of knife, with uses as diverse as shaving and cutting hair, to skinning game, cooking food, to use as a weapon. In my own day to day use, it functions in place of a small EDC folder, but I find with a dedicated chisel ground forward facing edge I'm able to scrape more easily, and can cut along surfaces very effectively. I particularly enjoy using it as a camp knife, but I do have one with me everyday for EDC.

The chisel grind is easier to maintain?
I've certainly found that to be the case, you just need sharpen on one side and strop on the other for best results. I've tried resharpening with a microbevel with decent results as well.
