The Crucible service center is about 30 minutes from where I currently live.
Last time I went there to pick up an order they were busy cutting down larger sheets of steel for smaller knivemakers as that the smaller guys do alot of business and try out new stuff on a regular basis.

However, I do think that they have a minimum order. I forget if it is 75 or 100 bucks.
