CPM Steels

I have been seeing alot on these forums about the CPM V steels and cryo treatment with them. Do the CPM steels need to be cryo treated? Is there anyone who does not cryo treat there CPm Steels? Does Crucible recamend cryo treatment?

Yes, CPM alloys should be cryo'd. Yes, Crucible recommends it.
All knife steels will benefit from Cryo-guys who don't do it are missing out on it's benefits.

You'll have trouble finding where Crucible says you HAVE to cryo for good results, but it helps any steel in my judgement. I use Paul Bos who cryos everything as far as I know. Based on the fact that my 3V blades came back 2 points harder than Crucible says it will be, I have to conclude the cryo refined that steel beyond what Crucible expects.
