i got an email about this blade but some how i could not reply
the little nub is not a flipper least not how i call a flipper (you shouldn't have to flip your wrist on a true flipper) this one you can start with the nub but would have ot flip your wrist to finish
i think that might be hard on the lock face and lock bar as the SS that is used for the cladding is a bit softer then the core and might need adjustment faster (and i cover that adjustment ) if it needs be
this is more a gents folder and if you are looking for a bit more work horse i can beef up a folder like this for you

I like everything about this folder. Your use of materials and how they go together look like something done by an artist. The fit, finish and workmanship look like something done by a master craftsman. You don't see both of those coming together on one knife very often. Plus the overall look is pleasant as well as unique. In my mind these are all things a collector should be looking for. Just my 2 cents. I think it's an awesome folder.

Butch,
I am beginning to really take a liking to your folders, my son Byron has long admired and may even own one of your razors. Keep up the good work. A pm coming your way.

that is a great looking "slippie" What is neat, is that without looking closer you would think it is a slippie. A very understated liner lock that looks functional but not in the way, or overly obvious.

Every piece I see of yours looks great! It looks like you have been doing this for decades, but if I remember correctly, you are relatively new at this profession??? (Couple of years)?

if so, your progress is not human.

he is semi retired so i cant say if he might make any more or not

i have a little of it left that im going to to try and make the most of
