Hey everyone!
Just finished this one on Wednesday and have been carrying it for a bit and am quite pleased.
To start, the blade is CPM154 heat treated by peters heat treat to 58-59 RC as recommended by Brad himself.
I used micarta and 410 steel for this build and used phosphor bronze washers and all hardware from alpha knife supply. (1/4" pivot and 1/8" stop pin and posts)
I also decided to do a bronze inlay on the pivot to add a touch of color and red liners on the titanium back spacer/skull crusher.
Blade thickness:.150
Grind: med-high flat grind.
Handle length: 4 1/3" including skull crusher.
Blade length:3 1/4.
Over all length:8 1/2" including skull crusher.
To top everything off I also made a calf hide, printed, pocket sheath/ case for this beauty.
All In all this project took me around 40 hours from start to finish including the leather work. I had a blast making this bad boy and have 11 more folder blades to go!
I am asking $180 including shipping and might be willing to make some trades (brous bionic for starters).
