Here is a knife I was just playing around with and don't have a buyer for it yet. Still need to make a sheath but will wait until I have a buyer to determine how to make it. It is made from .134" CPM154CM cryo treated with triple tempers resulting in 61-62 Rockwell C hardness. The knife is 11" overall with a 6" hollow ground blade. The blade is false sharpened on top and can be sharpened at buyers request. The knife is polished but can be bead blasted at the buyers request. The handle is black linen micarta with red liners and mosaic pins. The guard is also CPM154CM pre-attached to the blade and heat treated. Price is $185.00 plus $5.00 priority mail and I will pick up the PayPal fees.
Thanks for looking and God Bless!

That's a great looking knife! Great steel, great price. Don't see this lasting too long. Make that a big !

Thanks guys for the nice comments! oldrifleman I have a saying "you can have too many wives but never enough knives"...if I am reading DW correctly:)

thunder23js, have not got it yet but we will give it a bit, I'll let you know if it don't make it.
Thanks and God Bless!

Lanza, I don't have any real performance data to give you, but I do like working with it. I like the technology behind it that Crucible uses, I like the heat treat process and the hardness results. There is absolutely nothing wrong with ATS-34, I still like and will continue to use it. I beleive, though it may not be detectable, that the quality control at Crucible may (I say may) be better than Hitachi's. It has been kind of the "flavor of the month" steel. For almost 19 years I have not chased the flavor of the month steel, but I did the research on this one and decided to give it a try. Perhaps someone with some performance data will weigh in here and give us both some good info, I know there has been some discussions on this forum about CPM154CM in the past.
Thanks,

That's a Beauty! One of my all time favorite patterns- Great Price Too!
I'm going to have to sit on my hands to keep me away from one of these for the time being. Planning on doing another of this pattern?

Rugger, I am actually tweeking this pattern a bit and am going to do some as sub-hilts too, as well as offer partial serrations and different handle materials.

I was sitting here trying to come up with the words and I decided to just say...very nicely done. Two thumbs up.

Hi,

I also sent an email several hours ago and I'm thinking you did not receive it.

I'm interested in the knife and was wondering what the sheath options were.

Thanks

P J 234, no I did not get your email either, something funny going on today. The options would be type of leather sheath, like pouch or snap strap. I could make a Kydex sheath as well if needed.
Thanks for your interest!
thunder23js is first in line and I requested a quick response as to intentions.
