Thank you!Pretty neat looking blade!
It is a convex grind, and the handle is approximately 3/4 thick at the thickest point.what is the grind and handle thickness ?
Thanks
Thank you! That’s where peters straightened it. Basically they take a torch to the very edge and heat it up some to straighten it. The half moon section is a less hard section of steel and because of that takes a slight different etch.Interesting knife—nice lines and great steel with reliable heat treat from Peters. Looks like a workhorse. If you don’t mind, what’s the little half-moon shaped blemish at the spine a bit forward from the handle? Thx
If Peters really did this , I would never deal with them again . IMHO .Thank you!

They did, I have the receipt. It is a subject of great controversy in the makers section...If Peters really did this , I would never deal with them again . IMHO .
Paul Bos shop in IdahoThey did, I have the receipt. It is a subject of great controversy in the makers section...I was surprised they needed to straighten it honestly. I left the edge 3/32 thick before HT and its less than 8 inches long with an even grind. So long as its on the spine I have not seen anyone have issues though. Many makers will unharden the spines on larger knives any way for a differential HT. But Peters has continued to raise prices, if you know someone else who is good I would be willing to give them a shot.
Thank you sir! I will check them out!Paul Bos shop in Idaho
