I have a 7 A non Waved model and a 7 B Waved one both with black blades. I made a frame lock for them and depending on my mood swap out blades from the factory set up to the frame lock so when I carry it I've got the frame lock model on me. I do this one to the other now and then and find it is pretty easy to see why its one of the most copied models around. If the A blade was Waved I'd like it and consider it the perfect knife but I've learned to live with it just fine even though I really hate the chisel grinds. If you are using it for anything precision it requires a bit more care and focus to keep your line straight from doing anything like cutting open the mail to trying to sharpen a pencil but they are negotiable. Mostly I just like playing with the Wave!
