She is breaking in nicely and the 7 just doesn't want to be in a rotation. She thinks that the world revolves around her.

I have the same knife except mine is prettier, shes missing some coating, started a nice 21 degree edge on her but not quit finished, and got a few more love marks on here, the 7 is close to my heart it saw me through a lot of hard times, that's the one knife I'll always have at least one of, but now I want a combo edge stonewashed one dunno why, I just want one.

this only after about a month of carry, camera wouldn't pick up all the love marks, if you got a thing for beat up emersons, I got a 7 for you , As i said before but dunno if you ever say it I was in the army, got turned on to the 7 by a member of a seal team , I offered my 2 autos that had been issued to me for one 7 , he found me one and it saw me through some "tough times" as I put it in another thread, that knife is at my parent's house put up for safe keeping i'll snap some pics of it next time i'm at their house. It is beat to holy hell and back , but she never failed me , and I did everything with that knife, stuff you should never ever ever attempt with a folding knife, that 7 did , and still locks up like a champ no blade play nothing,anyway heres my new 7 I'm working on beating up pretty good

Yup, I have found that as well, Rolf. My problem is that I have bonded with too many Emersons.

I have an A-100 'affliction' as well, so the '7' and the A-100 do a little dance before I pick one for the day. However, I have really put my foot in it now. As you know, I have been looking for a 7'V' for some time now. After a futile search on the web, I decided to browse the Emerson site to oggle their 7'V' yet again. This time however, I had a feeling that they may be getting low on stock, so in a moment of knife 'paranoia', I called them up and ordered one. Now I am doing a little dance waiting for the latest arrival.
