LMAO , and yea the longer I carry a knife the more I bond with it , who says who can't have a relationship with an object? That still doesn't stop me from whipping up on them like a red headed step child if need be, I build cars for a living now, and I have ruined several 200+ dollar knives with the latest super steel, and then i realized , hey dumb ass use your emersons or cold steels, that softer steel is gonna take a beating better and you can resharpen it right up, So that's what I've been doing , last night a robot wouldn't give me the part i needed , so in I went whipped out the 7 and pried that bad boys clamps open , got my part out and was good to go , even centered my blade up a little more in the process:D

Thanks man.^
Oh, and NEVER sell your Emerson(s). Trust me.

Only sold two so far, a CQC-7 and a Horseman. I think all the rest are keepers (older Commander w' all Ti liners, Kreined Eleven w' all Ti liners, Journeyman #115 and a very well used CQC-10 that is SO right).

Yup, just wasn't my cup of tea. I do have large-ish hands, particularly my thumb/thumb span. Doublestack semiauto's (pistols) are perfect for me. I think the generous grips most other Emersons have is why the feel so right to me, plus the wave is the best thing since sliced bread.

Do you have a Commander?^
wuts your EDC?

I have logged the most pocket time on my Kreined CQC-11, followed by a well worn CQC-10, my only combo edge blade. My older Commander is a safe queen so far, an all Ti-liner black plain edge. Here's an older group pic when I still had my 7:

I have XL hands and i'm glad I got the de-waved 7. My thumb sits up on the spine of the blade. Don't think i'd be able to hold it as comfortably with the wave in the way.

It wouldn't be a problem in a reverse grip (weak side carry) with the wave feature but it doesn't feel right otherwise. Now a Super 7 might be a different story.

Nice pics! I had that exact one and gave her to a friend in need; I missed her so much that I bough another one ;-)
Only this time I got it waved. She was reprofiled on the WES to 30 degrees on the chisel side.. cuts like a MOFO!

Keep this one. ^
I just grabbed another 7. This one goes to Nath. Stay tuned...
