Cqc7a-bt

Now that I have the cqc-7a I like the looks of the Emerson A-100 :D
It appears similar to the 7a What's your take, on this model?
Not sure if it's the same grind or not,I think the blade is a bit longer.
I like the simple design of this one,, my cost would be $60 more than what I paid for the 7a
 
its smaller, thinner and a bit more narrow. I see it as abit more of a gentlemans folder or a more sheeple friendly emerson- if ther ever such a thing. Should make a great EDC especilly for those of us that were semi-dress on a daily basis.

Thanks for the description, sounds like what I need, for when I'm working.
I've been carrying my Para Millie for that purpose.

I just sold one of the A-100 last week, I thought it was bigger. Might have to check the specs out. Did't feel as secure in the hand for me. I know they are coming out with a mini A-100 that will be smaller than the CQC-7A.
 
Man I thought I was losing my mind, but I checked the Emerson's website. The a-100 is just a little bigger.

Here are the A-100 specs
Overall Length 8.4 in. Blade Length 3.6 in.

Here are the CQC-7A specs
Overall Length 8.0 in. Blade Length 3.3 in.

Maybe, I should be content with the Q 7 and look at anoter option :):)
 
Yep pretty close, almost 3/4 inches overall. Try it or you'll never know. If doesn't work out sell or trade it. Everyone is different, I thought I would like it, but it just didn't feel secure in the hand. Now the mini A-100 coming out, I think would be a nice gentleman's knife.

My Bad!

Although I was really refering to the handle size and the overall fell of the knife in the hand. It is not as bulky at leat IMO than the 7's are.
 
Either way boyzz, as I said before, I love my Spydie's, but this Q7 really Rock's
It's a Zen thing,like it's a real ME knife lol
