Due to the level of interest that has percolated up recently from people wanted to see this DVD set, I thought I'd offer mine for this passaround. Obviously, the value to me is more than the $30 purchase price so I'm trusting the quality of the people who frequent this sub-forum to take care of it. To keep things managable for now, I'm going to keep this limited to the first 12 who sign up. If more show interest along the way and the DVD remains in good shape, I can always extend the list later.
FYI - The title of the 2-DVD set is "The Exquisite Blade, The Legend of Chris Reeve Knives Vol. 1" . I don't believe there ever has been a "Vol. 2"
So, that said, here are a few of the "shrink wrap" rules that BF typically uses for passarounds. I find they are pretty clear and straightforward, and will serve fine here as well. By participating in the passaround you agree to the following:
- US Addresses only! No PO Boxes!
- You are 18 or over and considered an adult under your jurisdiction.
- You take full responsibility for this DVD 2-disk set and its use while in your possession.
- That you are participating in research and your comments and conversations about DVD are limited to BladeForums.
Keep the passaround up to 1 week and PERSONALLY send it to the next person by U.S.P.S. Priority Mail, delivery confirmation, insured. UPS and FEDEx are also acceptable as long as the package is trackable.
This is your responsibility, please do not rely on anyone else to mail it for you. No excuses.
Priority mail with delivery confirmation and $50 of insurance is SOP. You may also choose to ship via UPS or FedEx, as long as the above insurance amount is met. ( $100 of insurance may be the minimum, but it's only about $2)
When you receive the passaround please post in this thread as soon as possible so that we can keep track of it, also note the condition of the DVD as it is received. Please report any discrepancies as to the description of the previous participant. In such case, please call or e-mail me, and I will determine if the DVD should be sent back Please post when you send it on to the next person.
After the DVD passes hands, each person needs to verify all contents were received and their condition.
Also this has to comply with all of Sparks rules for passarounds - Bladeforums Passaround rules, the most important of which for me is you need be either a paying member or a registered member for at least 6 months!
And of course let us know what you think!
