The more I work with this wood the more I get to like it. It is very dense and with careful selection it develops some great figure. I have found a dye that gives it a nice red color even though it is hard to see in my poor photos.

Forged from 5160 steel
Flat grind
Distal taper in the blade and tang
Hand sanded to 400 grit
Crab apple handle stabilized in my shop
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 3 7/8 inches
Riveted leather scabbard
$110 ----SOLD----delivered to the US or Canada. My PayPal account is gldrewknives@yahoo.com I will also take your check with time to clear or USPS money order.

Please excuse the dirty hands, I usually like to wash the dishes before I take photos.

Very, very nice work!

This is my first time on this sub forum and I just spent the last hour scanning for your knives. I really like your designs. Do you take orders and if so what is your lead time?

I do take orders. I am almost caught up on custom work right now and estimate 3-4 weeks for a knife. Shoot me an e-mail with your specs and we will discuss. gldrewknives@yahoo.com

Great looking knife there.

As far as I am concerned Knife makers, mechanics, tire guys never have to apologize about having dirty hands. Just means you are working.

Gerry, I received the knife today and it's outstanding in every way. It is beautifully crafted and fits my hand perfectly. Can't wait to put it through the paces! Thanks so much.
