Crabbing With Pit Jr !!!

Took Pit Jr Crabbing for the first time this year !

Snicker didn't know what to make of the crabs and stayed well back !!!

Maisy is used to them and takes a closer look !!!

The Seal made an appearance but I could'nt get a good pic....

Pit Jr fed the left over fish to the gulls......

We do some crabbing off the docks out front and you sure can't beat the taste of fresh crab.
Looks like Pit Jr is having fun too. Great times when you can get them away from the Xbox eh.

We just use a cheapo Wally world round folding type, it works great, on a good day we can half filla bucket in a couple of hours !!!
Pit Jr gets his bait free from the local supermarket as well !!!!:thumbup:

It's a red rock crab, they are the ones we catch most often but do occasionally get a Dungeness.

I miss crabbing in Louisianna. We did it all the time when I was a boy. String, chicken necks, and a dip net. Man. Good eating.
