Crabbing with Pit Jr !!!!

The weather was so nice today that when Pit Jr got in from school I asked him if he wanted to go crabbing, quick as a flash he was off out for some bait !!!

Within 5 minutes we had the first in the trap....

I had taken my new JK Last resort knife along and tried it out on some scary looking fish....

Sliced like a demon.....

One of the locals wondered what I was up to !!!!!

Before long we had our second crab....

Check out Pit Jr with this finger nipper....

Not a bad size eh !

Of course now I had to pose with one !

Four in the bucket in less than an hour, not too shabby eh !

That looks like a great way to spend an afternoon with Jr. What kind of crabs are they, and how do you prepare them?:thumbup:

They are mostly Red rock crabs although we get the occasional Dungeness !

Drop em in boiling water for about 5 mins and they are done, to be honest we usually just do this for fun though and throw them back !!!!!

There's nothing wrong with video games! Of course you have to temper that with some cool time with knives and wildlife.
