Here is a 148 I haven't seen before.I wonder if someone else besides Schrade made this one.It is the 148 pattern with the tungston carbide edge. The strange thing is the fullers groove on the blade.I've never seen one on a Schrade 148 before.Arnold

Compare the blade and choil shape and dimensions, and the broaching to your other 148s. And the height of the TC applied. I'd bet a doughnut it is a Schrade knife. The fuller grooves are an oddity for sure, but we all know that Sears SFOs are pretty well known for this, right? So compare the known details first. Or just send it to me and let me fret over it!:p

Here is another picture showing the three examples.Top is Schrade-Walden,middle is the one in question, bottom is Craftsman.I know it's hard to see but the guard is different on the middle knife. Its much thinner. Also look at the handle. The other two don't have the spacers. The Craftsman at the bottom has a grind on the back of the blade.Last is the fuller groove.Arnold
