No the poor buggar . I sent him a email just before . He probably hasn't slept being a quest thing and all .
He came second if thats anything . I came 4th or 5th .

Just checked he came third but was up there till the end .

Yeah, I wanted it bad... I was in at $393.99 for a while, then when the sniping started, I put in $425 thinking that was enough. Next one I will just put in $1500 at the start, and if that don't get it, well, there'll be one after that, too.

There is a bright side to not winning this auction, though. Just think of the 897UH's and 34OT's I can get with the money I didn't have to spend!
 
Hey Pygy you are right mate wouldn't swap my 897uh for it .
UL must have won it I bet he has been quiet .
Its a pity we couldn't communicate a bit better might save $300 on the next one .
 
It was FUN. i was dude # 2.
now i'm happy because i don't have to take my newly arrived Schrade XT1B and hold up the local liquor outlet to pay for it.
if 2 guys figure app. $1500 would win the next one, it really will be an expensive score.

......O.K...O.K....I'll think about putting one up but I'm not really into left nuts I lean more to the right......Pygy I use a 2OT as a EDU.<cries again>.....doesnt impress anyone here in Oz....unless I run into Jamo they wouldnt have a clue what it is...I have actually lent one at work in the past to slice open boxes....never had a comment yet....andddd it was handed back to me...on Ebay in 2003 they used to pass through with maybe one bid...like picking plums.....<want my hanky again Pygy??>..Hoo Roo.
