Woah! Nice little knife! That'll be gone in a nanosecond or two!

I just read back through this thread from the start and found this..

3 3/4 inch closed congress. CPM 154 blades hollow ground, 416 integral bolsters and liners mill relieved. Jigged bone handles and file worked liners.

This is the first congress pattern I have made.

You just ain't whistling Dixie, his knives are superb! I have three and am waiting on a Pearl BackPocket!
I also have a SlimLine Trapper in Ivory like yours, Beautiful! Actually I just realized, I also have a Wharncliff
Trapper in Mammoth Ivory and a Lanny's Clip in Stag.

Jeff

Nice group. Craig does make great knives, I have 2 he built for me. John I look forward to a chance to see that WT up close.

John, as I said on another thread, the threaded rat-tail bolster is just gorgeous, and sets off the entire presentation.

One of the most beautiful traditionals I've had the pleasure of seeing (though not in person! ;))

Beautiful knives, John! Congrats to you and Craig.

This one is a special order to go out in the mail soon. 3 5/8 closed with CPM-154 blades, integral 416 bolsters and liners mill relieved at the pivot and abalone laminate handles.

Wow...just extraordinary! It would be interesting to know how you came up with this shape and what its called? Just a treat to see!!

Stunning execution! From the side it appears that the bolsters are completely round but the top view exposes the true shape. What a wonderful treat for the eyes. Very unique.

Chris

Thanks! I do not know what to call it. A customer sent me a similar knife marked Wm Elliot & Co. He wanted one with these blades and handle material. I hope someone can help on the pattern name.

I don't know what to call it, but I like it! The bolster shape looks like a ball peen hammer from the side.

"Peen Bolster". There ya' go!

All of your knives are stunning, but that last one took my breath away. I love the file work you do and it figures heavily into the beauty of your knives for me. This one has none of that and it is possibly your most gorgeous work (to my eyes).

Thanks again for sharing!

Eric
