This is one of the 5 knives Craig submitted for his Journyman stamp(which he aced, by the way). Blade is 11" of forged 1080 carbon tool steel, with very active hamon. Overall length has got to be around 17" or so, since the handle is Plenty long enough for anybody(yes, even that behemoth, Ari).
Nitre blued oval guard and collar, and one really awesome big honkin chunk of African Blackwood for the handle. This is one really great feeling handle! Comes with a great tooled frog style sheath by Craig. This knife has been pictured in at least one recent knife mag, and is also featured in the new Knives 2005 annual.
