Got this at Blade, and fell in love with it(you will too, I'm sure). Balance is superb; especially for such a big knife. Blade is at least 10" of forged, clay hardened W2. Very visible and active Hamon. Top edge is sharp; not razor sharp, but could be easily. Guard and spacer are damascus with a nickel silver or stainless spacer between(sorry, don't remember what Craig told me it was). Handle is some kind of gorgeous Austrailian hardwood, very similar to ironwood. Plenty of room for even the biggest of hands on this handle! Nice leather sheath by Craig comes with it, along with a padded zipper case.
