Cramming for finals. This is how its done

This is my first year out in a long time... I am LOVING it. Good luck Hunter, it sure feels good when that work gets you a good job and you don't have to spend all of you time studying any more.

Wow dude you must have finished in no time, what was your major?

Kinesiology - exercise science. I only pushed myself because I was behind after having switched majors back in 2003 and then taking a break entirely. I went back after transferring to another school at the end of 2006 and graduated in early 2009.

Now it's round two for graduate school. It's funny how this GRE scares me, yet I'm certified in basically one of the hardest fields in the industry, strength coaching, and that exam in my mind is much more difficult (also more expensive and requires maintaining the cert or losing it). It's only freaking verbal, "basic" math, and writing. My specialization still remains biomechanics, which is basically physics applied to the human body. I shouldn't be so worried about this GRE on Thursday.

We shall see though. Good luck on all the exams guys/girls.

Hunter,
You better study....... and study well..... with the addiction you have to Infi! I bet it's hard to stay focused with all the knives you have around. I bet you would rather be out in the Great Outdoor's with your favorite blade. Good Luck with your studies. :)

Kinesiology major here but no Busse unfortunately. A little under 3 weeks until I have my bachelors. Finals soon. I need a drink.

Summer classes...yikes. I used to take 4 - 6 summer classes every year, so between 12 and 18 credit hours. That was rough.

Yeah I am not sure if I am overdoing it my first time back or not. They are all online and I've got a 4, 6, and 8 week course. The 4 week class should be super easy and it doesn't start until 4 weeks in so there will only be a 2 week overlap of all 3 courses. The first 6 weeks are going to be interesting though. I guess it is good I am only working 4 days a week right now.

Just wanted to check in and send good vibes to everyone else taking finals right now...haven't been on here much the last few days and just saw this now.

Good luck with your finals!

If I survive today, I'll be in the clear...

Gentlemen, I just found out 1 hour ago that I made it in to graduate school for an orthopaedic Physician Assistant program. Keep up the good work! It pays off...even if it takes a few years ;)

Congrats B! Now the real hard work begins :)

Kudos on the education guys but the real school starts here. Not only do you have the opportunity to buy the best knives, but you can also learn from the Master of marketing. That knowledge will serve you well no matter what your degree

Had to take Organic and Biochem. Organic, bonehead calculus and physiology were the hardest courses for me. Good luck gentlemen.

2 year degree, 4 year degree, Law Degree.

I still have regular nightmares about finals, but more so about being late to school, not having my semester's worth of home work done, etc.

I never met a final I worried about until lawschool, and then the bar exam.

Good luck with your finals! Blue moon and a Basic 4 ... What a great way to relax!

I don't think you are using the right tool for cutting that fruit. I am sure a Gladius would work a lot better. :p Good luck with finals.

Only once in my college career did I cram for a final, and that was after a car accident four days before the test left me unable to study until the last night. I always found cramming to be counter productive, and I believed that a good night's sleep would do me more good than cramming. I would study hard for a few days, but on the night before tests, I would do a rather brief review of my notes and go shoot a few games of pool to relax for a good night's sleep. This technique got me through Electrical Engineering in pretty good shape. To do this, though, it is essential that one keeps up during the semister.
