Ever since I got my Mini 7 I've been craving more Emerson's. So today I bought a Gentleman Jim and a Mini Commander. My wallet hates me.

I feel you. It is tough. I found a good sale a few weeks ago and ordered 9 Emersons. They are addicting.

Congratulations on the scores  I know what you are talking about, my second in a week showed up last night.

I've been struck recently as well. That's why after I buy a few I stay off this site for a while.

It's definitely a occurring addiction.l. I've bought and sold numerous emersons and was down to zero for a few weeks. Since September I've made 5 new additions and plan on beefing up the arsonal very soon

At one point, I sold off 25 of the 26 Emerson's I had only to buy most of them again a few years later with a few more to go.

BenLong1018, the addiction will be complete once you change your profile photo to include an Emerson! :-p

It's funny I was actually thinking about doing that. Maybe I'll take a picture of my whole collection once I get the new ones.

Well you learned a valuable lesson don't sell your Emersons.

Most yes to that lesson. I would have eventually flipped most of then in favor of newer version with the thicker liners and stonewash finish. Of the 26 I had, 23 were black coated partially serrated blades which ended up not to my preference at all. The 1 I kept was stonewash Horseman from 2011 which I gave to my friend Dan for his first Emerson/EDC knife. Most of what I have now is mostly stonewash finished blades which I prefer. The older Emerson production knives were all coated blades in black or silver. The customs and ECA knives are satin finish but out of my price range or simply didn't have the funds to make a purchase when available. I don't sell my Emersons anymore:D.
