Craving a new Dozier

You are off to a great start!

I'd recommend the Arkansas Traveler and the Whittler for EDC. The Companion is a great knife too.

All of them carry really well, with nothing digging in or knocking around unexpectedly.
I believe the next one I go after will be a whittler or a small game skinner. I'm going to have to be picky on what I buy or this is going to get very expensive really fast!

I appreciate you posting the pictures. I've spent a considerable amount of time looking at pictures you have posted in the past.

Happy to share. I have been busy moving and have not been looking at the Forum or I would have jumped in sooner. Yep, pace yourself or it will get expensive - but the resale potential has always been really strong for AMD's so you can always sell those that don't float your boat for the next one that might. I have been chasing Bob's work for almost 30 years and it hasn't gotten old yet!

I sure miss the NYC shows.... it was 'Buy a Dozier' time :)

I second the Whittler, owned mine for a number of years and love it! Have a Modified Personal on order, can't wait

I'll be on the lookout for a whittler for sure. There is one available at A. G. Russell right now, but it comes with a left hand sheath and has a black micarta handle. I like black micarta, but would really like something a little less common.

Beautiful collection.

I keep coming back to look at that model 6. 🤩

Here's a few not so common -

Ram's Horn and stainless pins.
Bead blasted Tero-Tuf with alloy pins.
Ancient Ivory with brass fixtures.
Bead blasted Micarta also w/alloy pins.

I really love this pattern, but be prepared to wait a while for something different from the standard model to come along though.

Thank you!
That Model 6 never touched the table. I was there as they were unpacking their wares....
It came out of the tote, I recognized it and said
"I'll take it!"

While the Personal Utility is the most often carried, the flat ground fillet gets a good work out too.
Model 6? Pure class.

The only one missing is the Agent. Someday :)

I really love the ancient ivory.

My Dozier collection
Top to Bottom:
Columbia River Skinner w/Black Micarta
Yukon Pro Skinner w/Black Micarta
Yukon Pro Skinner w/Ivory G10 with orange inserts
Arkansas Traveler w/Dark Maroon G10
and a Dan Crotts Model 4 Bird & Trout w/Kingwood
Nice collection!
I should be receiving my Yukon Pro Skinner soon.

Seriously though, if you’re gonna get 4 or 5 factory knives, get a handmade at some point. Bob’s Loveless knives are sexy, here are mine. 2 Dropped Hunters in CPM154, one with green micarta and one with ironwood, then a Utility Hunter in 154CM and stag.
