Their shop has the capabilities to produce all their own parts and they hand grind and hand fit and finish every component. You're probably familiar with some Crawford designs produced by CRKT. These are just as functional but take that simplistic CRKT design and make them really pop!
The finest material went into making this collector/user self-defense folder. It's a knife you can put in any collection, show off at the office, use for everyday cutting jobs, use to save your life, and then pass on to the next generation of collector. The blade is made from S30V stainless steel with engine turning on the flats and brushed finish on the bevels. The knife has decorative jeweled engine turning on the inside of the liners, the bolsters and the handmade pocket clip. Everything is black tungsten DLC coated, the strongest coating that Pat and Wes know of. The flipper extension on the black underside of the blade is used for fast finger flip opening and it also has a Spyderco style opening hole so you can "Spydie-drop" this knife open if you choose. Notice the file work on the back spacer. Pat and Wes think about every aspect of the knife is their designs and nothing is overlooked. This is a hard use knife that will stand up to any knife job that needs to be done.
