i traded for an older kasper fighter about 6 months or so ago and have carried it all the time since - it is the ti model, and the handle was scuffed, blade stained, etc - i emailed pat crawford at crawford knives and he said he could 'recondition' it w/out too long a turnaround time so i sent it in - got it back yesterday, in a new crawford belt sheath, looking 100% LNIB, sharpened, lock rebuilt(can see new copper(?) bushings, etc and it locks up much better) - wow was like a different knife - and the turnaround was about a month total - and the price? $23!! hell i woulda paid that for the sheath lol and $13 was for shipping - so if ya are looking for a custom that is very well made, from a very well respected maker, who certainly will stand behind the knives (and i bought it second hand, pat owed me nothing)from the day ya purchase one onward, check out a crawford.

PS - now i haver to remember to never carry anything else in the pocket w/the knife though, i will prob cry when i get that first scuff......

ditto on what sifu said....i ran into pat crawford at a knife show near memphis and showed him a mini wortac that had developed vertical blade play.....he frowned and apologized that the blade play had developed and is going to fix not only the blade play for free but is going to institute the 5 or 6 design improvements he has developed for that model for free as well.....you just dont get that pride in workmanship/craftsmanship everyday.....pat is truly one of the very very good makers out there....feverdoc

Couldn't agree more! Pat will bend over backward to satisfy a customer. He's also one of the nicest folks I've ever met and one of the best knifemakers you could EVER to do business with. He's one of those makers where you just shake your head and wonder how he does what he does!
