Crayola knife

Well its all complete now. The knife arrived back here today after spending a few days with Michael Cooper. He made up one of his really nice kydex sheaths for it. It allows for neck carry, belt carry (vertical or horizontal) and also IWB. Thanks very much Mike, Charlotte sends her appreciation as well, it will work out very well for her.

ALRIGHT!!! I'm glad the knife got its new clothes. I'm also happy that Mike did the work! He's been a long time supporter of my knifemaking, so him doing the sheath is quite fitting.

Richard, tell Charlotte to scratch the knife up good! I look forward to her feedback. How does she like the menuki?

Hey Karl, yep, Mike did a bang up job on the sheath. Leather or kydex, he always does such nice work. And hey, his knives aint to bad either :D

She has cut a couple of things with it. This is one of those knives though that you cant just run out and scratch up through heavy use right away. Its much to pretty so she will take a couple of days to get over the initial fear of putting its first scratch on it.

The edge is really something. I always thought that Spyderco had some of the best factory edges around and this knife is right there with the best of Spydee edges. Very sharp and excels at slicing.

She has taken some time off next week, so the knife is going to get a good workout. Expect a full review in the next couple of weeks.

I wish the photo was able to show the blade finish better. The grind being very nicely brushed, and the flats with a very well done mirror finish.

How does she like the menuki?
In her words: "Oh wow, how pretty!"....I would say that she loves it.
