I've always had Cardinals here but this year I have one that's mentaly ill ! First I noticed bird poop covering the back of the mirrors on my truck. He obviously sat on the mirror and pecked at the mirror and pooped . I moved my truck and covered the mirrors with plastic bags. Today he's been charging the windows on my house . At lunch time I watched him slam into the back door about 20 times !! I know that reflections make the bird think it's a rival but this is crazy !
 
mete, we have both robins and redbirds doing the same thing here. we have mirror tint on one storm door out on the back patio. both robins and redbirds bang into the window for the same reason. we also have a window with the same tint on the back porch. this spring a robin was flying into the window repeatedly. its pretty funny to watch for sure.
