Crazy ebony

That is some nice looking ebony. I prefer the streaked and modeled with some brown and tan. I’m not as interested in the solid black only for handles. I do like black for contrast and trim though.
 
I just received a Black ebony 110 Fg. I would be disappointed if it wasn't black ebony. That is what I expected and received.

You won't get the blonde ebony as standard. Buck made these at the sale due to the colors Taylor sent them. Will more than likely be a custom wood option on custom knives. You could get it if you wanted it. Otherwise black is what you will get.
 
That is some fine looking ebony. In my mind ebony is mostly black, but I would be delighted to get a Buck Knife that had that streaky looking ebony. Real eye popping! OH
 
I like both. Kind of the nice thing about natural handle materials. Every one is a little different. I've only got 2 of the new ebony Bucks. A 110 and a 112. The 112 is deep black and the 110 is streaky with some lighter color. Both nice, just different.
 
That's some of the nicest ebony I've seen. I'll admit, I do prefer the character shown on these over the very dark ebony wood I see on many. Wood is always a classy handle material, but sometimes classy with character is even better. Very nice gents.
